Who am I to Write About Suicide?
I know what it means to face circumstances you might think they are too much.
Born with a tiny but symptomatic tumor in my brain.
Diagnosed in 2001.
Since then, pressure on my auditory nerve.
Lack of concentration.
Disturbed nights.
Lots of struggles.
Lots of love.
F…. ya, disruptions.
I am transforming you into resources.
Did I want to end this life?
For a long time, I every day dreamt about a life without this hopeless perspective of never finding calmness in life again.
This has nothing in common with suicide.
It is more about the deep wish to kill the problem, the symptom, the thought, the situation, the conflict itself.
But – you cannot kill problems, symptoms, or thoughts.
In the year 2001, I stood one week on the balcony, smoking cigarettes, drinking beer, complaining and asking “why me”?
Then, I decided:
I am gonna do the right things now to get out of this
I deserve a good life, a life I am happy within.
